What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Radiographer / Mammographer position at UNC Health Southeastern?
POSITION SUMMARY: Produces radiographic and diagnostic studies using a variety of imaging modalities – with a focus on Mammography - under the clinical supervision of a Radiologist. Evaluates quality of radiographic images, provides a safe patient environment, and participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS. TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required: Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA) accredited radiography program, or the equivalent. Registered, or registry eligible in Mammography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with up to date continuing education credits. BCLS certified; recertification required annually. RT(R) (M) with MQSA guidelines.
Preferred: Associate Degree in radiography and ARRT certified.

Schedule: Part time-No Dental, Life or Medical Insurance, Day, 8-5 M-F
