Performs plumbing repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance per applicable codes and standards. Informs the supervisor and/or lead mechanic of any problems and provides updates on the status of work in progress. Assists with area coverage to ensure that work orders, maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) requests are completed. As this position works in areas occupied by students, particular care must be taken to address residents' needs, while ensuring residents' privacy and respect for their personal property.
