Night Auditor/Front Desk

Job Summary
Unbridled Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at the historic Hotel St. Cloud. As a Night Auditor, you will be the primary point of contact during the night shift, managing both front desk operations and accounting responsibilities to ensure a seamless guest experience and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

• Check guests in and out, handle reservations, and address guest inquiries or requests during the night shift.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and handling any complaints or emergencies with professionalism.

Financial Management:

• Conduct nightly audits of hotel financial transactions, ensuring all charges are accurately posted to guest folios.
• Balance cash receipts, reconcile accounts, and prepare various reports including daily revenue summary, occupancy reports, and charge discrepancies.
• Process credit card payments, manage cash handling, and ensure compliance with financial policies.

Security, Safety & Facilities:

• Monitor hotel security systems, including surveillance equipment, to ensure the safety of guests and property.
• Respond to emergencies or security issues, coordinating with appropriate staff or external services as needed.
• First floor touch up overnight cleaning including but not limited to: lobby restrooms, surfaces & elevator cab

Administrative Duties:

• Perform end-of-day procedures, including running night audit reports and preparing financial documents for the next day's operations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist in training new staff on night audit procedures if required.
• Ensure that the front desk area is clean and presentable.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in hotel operations, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a night audit or similar role.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management software, with an ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Capability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision.
