Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support meal creation.
• Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and ensuring proper portioning under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle food safely by following proper storage procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Support the organization of ingredients and supplies in storage areas for efficient kitchen operations.
• Help with serving meals during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery to customers or dining areas.
• Assist with catering setups and special event preparations as needed.
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining inventory levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
• Contribute positively to team efforts by demonstrating enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
