Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Surgical Unit. The RN will provide specialized care to post-surgical patients, ensuring safety, quality, and whole-person care. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients in the progressive surgical unit.
- Monitor, assess, and manage patient conditions post-surgery.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support patient safety initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care, recovery, and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in acute care or surgical settings.
