We are ONLY considering candidates who meet ALL of the below:
- 10 years in Rail / Transportation domain
- Experience selling Engineering Services (ER&D / Digital / Consulting) — NOT products/logistics only
- Managed $5M account portfolio OR closed large deals
- Strong relationships with Rail OEMs, Operators, or Tier 1 suppliers
- Experience in solution selling / managed services / fixed-price deals
- Own and grow strategic rail & transportation accounts across OEMs, operators, and infrastructure players
- Drive new business (hunting) while expanding existing accounts (farming)
- Sell engineering services including:
- Design & engineering
- Digital engineering (IoT, analytics, cloud)
- Testing, validation, and lifecycle services
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle: opportunity → proposal → pricing → negotiation → closure
- Develop long-term client relationships at senior/executive levels
- Partner with delivery/engineering teams to align solutions with client needs
- Track market trends in rail (digitalization, sustainability, automation)
- 10–15 years in Rail Engineering Services Sales / Account Management
- Proven success in:
- New logo acquisition
- Large deal closures
- Strategic account growth
- Strong network within:
- Rail OEMs (e.g., Alstom, Hitachi Rail)
- Engineering service providers (e.g., Quest Global, L&T Technology Services)
- Experience with:
- Managed services / fixed-price contracts
- Complex RFPs and proposal creation
- Strong understanding of:
- Rail systems, operations, and ecosystem
- Engineering & digital transformation in transportation
- You’ve sold engineering or digital services into rail accounts
- You have CXO-level relationships in the rail ecosystem
- You can independently drive deals from prospecting to closure
- You understand both technical solutions commercial value
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering / Business / Transportation preferred)

Salary : $170,000 - $200,000
