Overview
Ultratec is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee corporate and production technology platforms. This role blends deep technical expertise with proven leadership skills. You’ll manage a team, lead day-to-day operations, and ensure high availability of critical systems while fostering accountability and professional growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team. Conduct performance reviews, address attendance/conduct issues, and foster accountability.
- Maintain enterprise IT systems including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, business applications, ERP, email, and critical infrastructure.
- Serve as escalation point for critical incidents; ensure SLA compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage security policies, licensing, disaster recovery, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align IT initiatives with business strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years in enterprise IT operations; 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise: systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, ERP support.
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop team members effectively.
- Experience with budgeting, procurement, asset management, and project coordination.
- Ability to respond onsite within 30 minutes for critical incidents and provide 24/7 on-call support.
