We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office. The ideal candidate will greet visitors, answer phones, and provide administrative support while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
8:00am - 5:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to fulfill all essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate employee or department
- Transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate person is unavailable
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate contact
- Receive mail deliveries and distribute to appropriate recipients
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as photocopying, adding postage to outgoing USPS mail and data entry
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months related experience and/or training on multi-line phone system; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), CRM experience a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with customers, clients, vendors and employees
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
