What you will own
- Qualify and approve supplier quality systems and process controls through rigorous evaluations.
- Plan and conduct supplier audits and assessments, verifying compliance with company standards and expectations.
- Partner with suppliers to resolve nonconformances using structured root cause analysis and durable corrective actions.
- Track and interpret supplier KPIs, provide actionable feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain dependable quality documentation such as inspection plans, control methods, and summary reports.
- Contribute to cross-functional teams supporting new product development and successful launch readiness.
- Coach suppliers on requirements, best practices, and practical tools that elevate quality performance.
- Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes that impact supplier quality, and translate them into clear guidance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
- 2 years in supplier quality engineering or a closely related function.
- Strong command of quality management systems and methodologies, including ISO 9001 and Six Sigma concepts.
- Sharp analytical mindset and a proven, methodical approach to problem solving.
- Clear, persuasive communication and collaboration skills with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Hands-on proficiency with quality tools and software, including statistical analysis techniques.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for supplier audits and on-site assessments.
