Your role, Your impact
- Lead supplier quality development activities for fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) and related commodities.
- Collaborate with industrial and design teams to ensure robust quality standards at industrial sites.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel 40-60% of the time to supplier sites, ensuring on-site quality and compliance.
- Support pre-screening and interview processes by identifying key technical and process requirements.
What you bring
- Degree in materials, mechanical, industrial engineering, with strong knowledge of FRP (fiber reinforced plastics) processes.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality, materials, or mechanical engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience in metrology, quality inspection, GD&T, 3D CAD (CATIA/NX/Creo/SolidWorks), PFMEA, Control Plans, FAI, MSA, GR&R, SPC, and FRP composite inspection/process methodologies.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, drive issues from start to finish, and demonstrate self-accountability.
- Strong team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time to supplier sites (North America).
- Achievement of supplier quality targets and reduction of non-conformities.
- Effective execution of supplier audits and implementation of corrective actions.
- Timely and impactful support to project and operational teams.
