Your mission
- Plan and run physical/electrical tests on cells, batteries, and electronic devices, including Safety Assessment, First Article, and UN testing.
- Leverage spreadsheets, databases, and Visual Basic routines to download, manipulate, and analyze test data.
- Produce clear, SOP‑aligned standardized and special reports for assigned tasks and projects.
- Identify all task requirements, flag deviations from standards, and verify systems/components meet specifications.
- Select and configure the correct programs on test equipment per customer specifications and written protocols.
- Maintain meticulous procedure documentation and accurate in‑process and completed production records.
- Operate DMMs, thermocouples, environmental chambers, dial gauges, and data collection systems.
- Ensure all test instruments remain within calibration.
- Adhere to the Quality Assurance Program and suggest enhancements.
- Tackle other assigned work and support overtime/off‑shift needs when required.
- Associate degree in a relevant field or 3 years of technician‑level experience in manufacturing (required).
- Skill in extracting/understanding information from schematic, mechanical, and assembly drawings.
- Foundational knowledge of testing, troubleshooting, and assembly across digital and analog circuits.
- Ability to contribute both independently and on cross‑functional teams.
- Safe, efficient operation of shop tools and test equipment.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Consistency with IPC workmanship and soldering standards (preferred).
- Knowledge of electronic industry QA practices, such as IPC standards.
- Familiarity with ESD mitigation processes and procedures.
- Readiness to provide written input that supports better design and higher production throughput.
- High initiative and dependable work ethic.
