Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Coil Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and testing induction coils used in industrial heating applications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with copper tubing, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Pay is commensurate with experience.
- Fabricate induction heating coils using copper tubing, fittings, and specialized components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions provided by Ultraflex engineers.
- Form, bend, and shape copper tubing using manual and powered tools.
- Perform brazing, soldering, and basic welding operations following internal standards.
- Conduct pressure testing, continuity checks, and performance testing on completed coils.
- Troubleshoot coil defects and collaborate with engineering on design improvements.
- Document production steps, quality checks, and materials used.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations in compliance with company safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working in a manufacturing, machining, HVAC, or metal‑fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
- Experience with hand and power tools (tube benders, torches, grinders, drill presses, measurement tools).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience fabricating induction coils or working with copper tubing.
- Brazing, soldering, or welding experience (torch-based brazing preferred).
- Familiarity with induction heating principles (training provided).
- Experience within a high‑mix, low‑volume production environment
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
