Assistant Manager/Budtender (Part-time)

We are looking for a Part-time, hard-working, and team oriented individual to join our team! We want an outgoing and passionate Assistant Manager who is looking for long-term employment. Our team members assist with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking to hire a responsible and reliable Assistant Manager. Ideally, this position will start as a budtending role and develop into a management role over a 3 month time period. Budtenders are responsible for helping customers, cash handling and customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various individuals. The assistant manager role will consist of budtending, accurate cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventory, reports, and end of day paperwork. Flexible scheduling availiblity preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment
• Opening and closing independently
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
• Responsible for product knowledge
• Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers
• Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
• Correct cash handling and inventory
• Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles
• Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
• End of day paperwork
• Store reports
• Store organization and cleanliness

SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Desire to learn about our products
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
• Fun attitude and strong work ethic
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
• Must be able to work in a team setting as well as an independent setting

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year customer service experience preferred
• 1 year management/team lead experience preferred
• 1 year cash handling experience preferred
• 21 years of age
• Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled
• Must be able to pass a state and national background check

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent minimum
• Management experience
• Previous food service or retail experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable Transportation
• Cannabis knowledge is preferred
• Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day
