Cannabis Budtender

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and team-oriented individual to join our team! We want an outgoing and passionate Budtender who is looking for part-time employment. Our Budtenders will assist with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Budtenders are responsible for helping customers, cash handling and customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
• Responsible for product knowledge
• Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers
• Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
• Correct cash handling and inventory
• Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles
• Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
• Store organization and cleanliness

SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Desire to learn about our products
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
• Fun attitude and strong work ethic
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year customer service experience preferred
• 1 year cash handling experience preferred
• 21 years of age
• Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled
• Must be able to pass a state and national background check

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent minimum
• Previous food service or retail experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable Transportation
• Cannabis knowledge is preferred
• Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour
