UCT is looking for a talented Facilities Lead to join us in Chandler, AZ!

The Facilities Technician Lead ensures optimal operation of production equipment, buildings, and facility systems through expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role leads preventative and corrective maintenance across HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, and clean room systems, while supporting installation and start-up of equipment. It drives cost-saving initiatives, ensures compliance with safety standards, and contributes to continuous improvement of facility infrastructure to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in Repair and Maintenance of Total Manufacturing Support Systems

• Compressed Air Systems
• HVAC / Evaporative Cooling Systems
• Chilled Water Systems
• Deionized Water Systems
• Clean Room Applications
• Sheetmetal Fabrication and Machining Equipment
  
  

Knowledgeable and Familiarity with:

• Power Distribution
• Metal Fabrication and Welding
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  
  

Maintenance and Improvement

• Procurement of Replacement Parts
• Cost Saving Initiatives
  
  

Performs other duties as assigned.

• Total knowledge & involvement in all Safety procedures and policies while performing all tasks. Participate in Emergency Response Team as required by Facilities Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Works in a manufacturing environment. Frequent travel between buildings.
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• Able to work in changing weather conditions, (heat, cold, rain)
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, push, pull, grasp, hear, and reach; lift objects up to 50 lbs.; and work at heights of up to 35 to 50 ft.
• Close vision required for computer monitors.
  
  

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• High School Diploma/GED; some College/Vocational/Trade School preferred or equivalent experience.
  
  

Experience Requirement:

• Forklift Certification.
• Basic Welding/Soldering experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong dedication and sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
• Excellent teamwork attitude.
• Able to work overtime as needed without notice.
  
  

Work Experience:

• Two years demonstrated Maintenance/Facilities/Tech experience.
