Senior Cost Accountant

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000

Location: Shelbyville, TN

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Accountant with strong analytical skills and deep manufacturing experience. This role focuses on cost analysis, inventory control, and process improvement to help drive profitability and operational efficiency.

• Analyze production costs and variances; report findings to management
• Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and perform cycle counts
• Develop and manage standard costing across materials, labor, and overhead
• Collaborate on cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
• Ensure ERP data accuracy (Oracle) and compliance with accounting standards
  
  

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 7 years of accounting experience in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of production flow and inventory control
• Proficient in Oracle, Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and OneStream
• Analytical mindset with a focus on margin improvement
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• CPA or MBA preferred
