Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Port Operations Assistant to join a privately-held maritime terminal company in Baltimore. This full-time, onsite role offers a unique blend of inside and outside work, requiring the successful candidate to split their time between office tasks and hands-on duties at the docks. This role is essential for supporting the efficient movement of cargo and daily terminal activities at the port.
- Coordinate and oversee the discharge of bulk and break-bulk vessels.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring quality service that meets and exceeds their expectations.
- Advocate for and implement a safe working environment.
- Provide support across multiple departments with a focus on vessel operations.
- Utilize time management, problem-solving, and other skills to increase productivity in day-to-day vessel and terminal operations.
- Work directly with department managers and other employees to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Invoice customers for services rendered.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime and some weekends required.
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $24 to $27 per hour, with opportunities for overtime.
The Port Operations Assistant will report to the Vice President of Operations. The successful candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations at one of the largest privately owned marine terminals in Baltimore.
