Supply Chain Administrative Assistant (Purchasing | Planning | ERP | Hybrid)

We're hiring a Supply Chain Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced, collaborative operations team. This is a newly created role with high visibility, offering hands-on experience across procurement, ERP systems, scheduling, and data management.

Purchasing / Procurement Support
- Create, update, and track purchase orders (POs) in ERP systems
- Monitor order acknowledgements, pricing, lead times, and supplier confirmations
- Follow up with vendors on open orders, discrepancies, and delays
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Update demand planning and supply signals within ERP
- Track work orders, material availability, and production schedules
- Assist in resolving supply chain bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts
- Run reports to support inventory planning and demand forecasting
- Maintain master data (part numbers, vendors, lead times, BOM support)
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems
- Support reporting, analytics, and inventory data management
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and gaps
Core Competencies
- Self-starter / self-sufficient - can prioritize and execute independently
- Comfortable in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
- Persistent and proactive with vendor follow-ups and problem-solving
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- 1-3 years of experience in:
- Supply Chain
- Purchasing / Procurement
- Production Planning / Scheduling
- Inventory Control / Operations Support
- Experience working in an ERP system (Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, data accuracy)
- Strong attention to detail in data entry, reporting, and system updates
- MRP / demand planning exposure
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
- Vendor management or supplier coordination
- Inventory analysis or supply chain reporting
