Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and people‑focused HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance for one of our clients in Fresno, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR questions and concerns
- Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, and interviews
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee offboarding
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with enrollments
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
- Support performance management and employee development processes
- Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support training initiatives and company policies
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years of HR generalist experience
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Preferred Skills
- SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Experience in a multi‑state or fast‑paced environment
- Payroll or benefits administration experience
