HANDYMAN – GENERAL MAINTENANCE
About the Role
Ultimate Properties is looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman/Contractor to may help with roofing, siding, general exterior maintenance, and mechanical repairs at our rental properties in Duluth, MN.
This is a part-time, on-call independent contractor position, ideal for someone who is dependable, works well independently, and is looking for flexible work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Paint or touch up siding and exterior surfaces
- Trim trees and branches when needed
- Perform general handyman and property maintenance work
- Troubleshoot and assist with mechanical systems, including HVAC, furnaces, heating systems, and water heaters
- Perform minor repairs or maintenance on mechanical equipment when qualified
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Provide photos, updates, and estimates when requested
Requirements
- It's a plus if you have experience with roofing, siding
- It's a plus if you have experience with HVAC, furnace, heating, plumbing, or other mechanical experience is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete work with minimal supervision
- Reliable, self-motivated, and good at communicating
- Own basic tools and have reliable transportation
- Able to work safely and professionally
- Flexible availability for on-call jobs
