Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at our Methuen, MA location, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including providing psychiatric care and prescribing medication when necessary. Additional responsibilities include creating and implementing patient-centered care plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care, with a strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions.
- Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner, specifically in mental health care settings.
- Proficiency and clinical knowledge in the domains of Nursing and Mental Health Care.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient care skills.
- State licensure to practice in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatry/Mental Health.
- Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in both in-person and remote environments as required by a hybrid work model.
