Your Role as a Sheet Metal Technician
As a Residential Sheet Metal Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers enjoy optimal comfort by installing and fabricating sheet metal components. Your work will directly contribute to our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems to company standards, ensuring top-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Work on a variety of residential heating and cooling systems, including gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and refrigerant systems
- Install and design ductwork systems that align with functional and safety codes
- Ensure all systems are tested, balanced, and functioning correctly before leaving the job site
- Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and expertise
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Engage with customers to address concerns and provide practical solutions to meet their needs
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and obtain NATE Installer Certifications (we'll help you keep your skills current!)
What You Bring to the Table
To be successful in this role, we're looking for someone with experience, knowledge, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years of HVAC installation experience, including sheet metal work and ductwork installation
- Proficiency in residential and light commercial HVAC systems (gas, electric, heat pumps, refrigerants, etc.)
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- The ability to train and supervise others while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Solid safety knowledge when working with tools and equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC low voltage systems and code requirements for installations
- A commitment to excellence in customer service and job performance
- Willingness to invest in your trade tools and maintain them over time
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders and aerial equipment
Salary : $30 - $40
