THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
As a member of the Business Continuity Team, the Business Continuity Specialist is responsible for coordinating the design, development, maintenance, and testing of business continuity plans for each business unit of the organization. These plans include processes and dependency mapping to best prepare the organization to respond to a disaster or interruption with minimal impact to the business, our guests, and associates.
This role works cross-functionally with leaders and business units, leveraging business continuity software to maintain, update, and execute plans. The Specialist will also be required to be on-call for a timely response to business disruptions.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Initiate, schedule, update, and manage business continuity planning and documentation within various business functions for the organization
- Assess potential business impact (Business Impact Analysis) and recommend recovery strategies and options to assist with the implementation of recovery solutions.
- Perform risk analyses to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure, and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain appropriate tracking mechanisms using the Fusion Framework system.
- Support and backup the Business Continuity Manager during critical business incidents and interruptions.
- Facilitate and support enterprise-wide All Hands calls during significant business disruptions.
- Provide expertise and support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs.
- Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of various program policies, procedures and best practices.
- Support and facilitate enterprise and departmental tabletop exercises to test business continuity plans and validate their effectiveness and accuracy.
- Drive Business Continuity awareness and training throughout the enterprise.
- Design and generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to track program performance.
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in business continuity planning and methodology.
- Certifications in ABCP (Associate Business Continuity Professional), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), or CRMP (Certified Risk Management Professional) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity and recovery best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize and present complex information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with initiative, follow-through, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills to assist in recovery efforts.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions during a crisis.
- Basic knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and build strong, positive relationships with various levels of staff and management.
- Strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Experience with Fusion Framework System (preferred).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Given the nature of the role, a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business (may include evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Occasional overnight travel for training and professional seminars

The pay range for this position is $66,200.00 - $75,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
