The Business Development Executive (BDE) is a strategic revenue-driver focused on high-potential growth with Orthodontic and General Dental practices. This role is responsible for lead management, identification and qualification as well as the strategic recovery of “down” or “lost” accounts. The BDE utilizes industry knowledge and consultative sales techniques to target growth potential from new, down, and lost accounts.

Requirements
Territory Prospecting & Management
- Execute high-volume outbound activity including calls and emails to down and lost accounts while qualifying new leads.
- Follow up on regional and national marketing leads generated from trade shows, webinars, and digital campaigns.
- Support the initial stages of customer account creation and onboarding processes.
- Share key product updates, promotions, and educational resources with prospects and existing accounts.
- Analyze account utilization data to identify opportunities for cross-selling and volume expansion within the existing customer base.
- Act as the primary point of contact for remote accounts, ensuring long-term loyalty and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain meticulous records in Salesforce regarding all prospect, lead, and account interactions.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Clinical Integration Specialists where applicable to ensure seamless account coverage and customer support.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong virtual presence.
- Ability to build rapport and trust without face-to-face interaction.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify sales and growth opportunities through account data.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years of inside sales and business development experience.
- Dental, orthodontic, or related medical device sales experience preferred.
- Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Experience using virtual meeting tools and sales engagement technologies.
- Proven ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and close opportunities remotely.
- Occasional travel for team meetings, training events or tradeshows
