**Regional History Librarian Supervisor**
The Regional History Librarian Supervisor manages a diverse portfolio of administrative, supervisory, and specialized curatorial functions to collect, preserve, and share the unique history of the Uinta Basin. This role provides strategic vision and daily oversight for all operations, personnel, budgets, and public programming. The supervisor leads crucial modernizing initiatives---advancing digital preservation capabilities, updating archival workflows using national standards, and expanding community engagement through dynamic public history, outreach, and local educational partnerships.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Archives Management, Museum Studies, Library Science, History, Information Science, or a related field, combined with three or more years of archival or records management experience in an institutional setting and at least one year of supervisory experience. Alternatively, we accept a Master's degree in these fields (with an archival concentration) paired with one year of professional archival experience; supervisory experience is preferred for Master's-level applicants. An equivalent combination of education and experience that meets these core standards will also be fully recognized. This position requires a valid Utah Driver's License and active membership in relevant professional organizations. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience using archival software (such as PastPerfect, ArchivesSpace, AtoM, or Archivists' Toolkit) and those who hold a Certified Archivist (CA) or Digital Archives Specialist (DAS) credential, or who can demonstrate the ability to earn certification within two years of hire.
This full-time Exempt position offers $55,619.20 a year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
