DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER (BGEM):
Bowhead seeks a Deputy Program Manager for an upcoming Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM in Washington, D.C.

Bowhead seeks a Deputy Program Manager for an upcoming Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM in Washington, D.C.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Ensures that all required resources such as engineering, manpower, production, computer time, facilities and the like are available for the program.
- Plans, directs and monitors program budget and serves as primary customer contact for program information.
- May be responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
- May be responsible for programs of a lesser dollar value if they are more complex or developmental in nature.
- Program complexity is the primary criteria for leveling, and dollar value of programs is secondary.
- Other Duties as assigned
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering scientific, business, or technical discipline.
- PMP certification highly desired.
- Ten (10) years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition; or ten (10) years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition
- Must be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
