Position Summary
The Extra Help Office Support Specialist for Digital Accessibility within Technology Solutions is the organizer and planner for the DASE department. This role prepares meeting summaries, maintains and updates internal documentation, including processing digital accessibility training recordings for internal and external audiences. Additionally, creates and updates webpages related to digital accessibility events and programs; performs routine website maintenance and assists in coordinating marketing and outreach efforts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews incoming emails from the DASE team account, responds independently to routine inquiries, and routes remaining items to the TDX system for designated team members.
- Schedule, promote, and coordinate monthly digital accessibility training webinars, annual liaison workshops, and related events; assists with monitoring attendance, collecting feedback, and providing technical moderation.
- Makes cost estimates and comparisons for digital accessibility event-related purchases such as catering, prizes, and t-shirt orders; research supply options, obtains quotes, and completes purchasing based on the team leader’s recommendations.
- Creates and updates webpages related to digital accessibility events and programs; performs routine website maintenance and assists in coordinating marketing and outreach efforts for internal and external audiences.
- Facilitates DASE team stand-up meetings, prepares meeting summaries, maintains and updates internal documentation, and coordinates onboarding activities for new staff.
- Processes digital accessibility training recordings for internal and external audiences; assists in maintaining inventory records and tracking statistics for digital accessibility services and training activities.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.·
