Position Summary
Under direct supervision, provides administrative, customer service, and operational support to the UI Health Human Resources – Employee Experience department. This role assists with the coordination of employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and onboarding activities across the organization. The position supports day-to-day operations by maintaining records, preparing materials, assisting with events and orientations, and helping track key department metrics. Work requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use judgment and initiative while supporting multiple projects and activities. Knowledge of departmental programs, processes, and procedures is important to effectively support the Employee Experience team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Employee Experience team to assist with daily operations and departmental initiatives.
- Assist with preparation and organization of materials for employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and training events.
- Support event logistics including assembling materials, preparing packets, setting up spaces, and assisting with event breakdown.
- Assist with maintaining department files, spreadsheets, and tracking tools; enter data and update records as directed
- Help track basic program information such as recognition submissions, orientation attendance, and event participation.
- Assist with scheduling support tasks such as preparing meeting spaces, organizing materials, and supporting meeting logistics.
- Deliver materials or supplies to various departments across the hospital and clinics as needed.
- Respond to routine requests for information related to Employee Experience events or initiatives and direct inquiries to appropriate team members.
- Support preparation of basic reports, summaries, and documents related to departmental programs and activities.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
