Position Summary
The appointment as Associate Professor will have a primary role in the Doctor of Clinical Exercise Physiology Program and Physical Therapy Faculty Practice; teaching and mentoring students and overseeing patient care in the Medical Exercise Therapy (MET) Clinic.
Duties & Responsibilities
Teach courses within the Doctor of Clinical Exercise Physiology program and the Healthy Living Practitioner Certificate.
Oversee students providing exercise interventions within the Medical Exercise Therapy Clinic and have regular meetings to review the updates on the program and patient progress.
Manage the Physical Therapy Faculty Practice's Cardiac Rehabilitation and Exercise Stress Testing program's database. Analyze and disseminate findings through manuscripts and conference presentations.
Mentor students in the Doctor of Clinical Exercise Physiology program
Manage collaborative clinical and research projects.
Manage day-to-day office operations. Interview, hire, orient, lead, mentor, and evaluate staff to meet departmental and organizational needs.
Perform other duties as assigned Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
