A great client at UHY is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Global Financial Center. The ideal candidate will have client billing experience, strong Excel skills, and experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
The Financial Analyst role is a hybrid position, with 3 days each week being onsite. This is a client direct hire position.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities
- Manage client budgets and partner agency billing activities
- Initiate project updates and maintain accurate financial reporting data
- Create and maintain fee schedules and billing documentation
- Track statements of work, change orders, and project updates
- Assist with invoicing issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and work-in-process reports and address issues as needed
- Manage milestone billing and support client contract requirements
- Coordinate pre-billing processes and ensure contractual deadlines are met
- Prepare billing schedules and obtain required approvals
- Approve client invoices and maintain billing system accuracy
- Partner with finance leadership and agency teams to support business objectives
Financial Analyst Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, billing, or a related role
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working in a compliance-focused environment
- Exposure to SOX controls preferred
- Experience with Microsoft AX preferred
- Advertising agency experience preferred
