This role will serve as the face of the office, requiring a consistent in-office presence while managing executive support, coordinating logistics, and maintaining overall office functionality in a small, collaborative setting.
The Administrative Assistant role is a fully onsite position based in Birmingham, MI, requiring five days per week in the office. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering strong compensation, a professional environment, and flexibility for personal needs.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and maintain a professional office presence
- Manage executive support tasks, including complex travel arrangements and schedule coordination
- Handle urgent requests and maintain on-call availability for time-sensitive needs
- Coordinate office activities, including weekly lunches and periodic events
- Perform light accounting tasks and support financial-related administrative work
- Maintain office organization, including managing supplies, snacks, and common areas
- Prepare and manage reports using Excel and Word
- Support multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities effectively
Administrative Assistant Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role
- Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Experience in a small business or professional services environment preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to be onsite five days per week and support on-call needs
