A great UHY client is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager who has cash forecasting experience. The position will have a team of direct reports who manage AP and AP in multiple states. This position will also manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks, which involves the daily cash position, cash forecasting, and overseeing banking relationships. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in financial software.
This is a direct hire with our client in Grand Rapids, MI offering a hybrid work arrangement.
Key responsibilities
Cash and liquidity management:
- Monitor and manage daily cash positioning to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Develop and refine cash flow forecasts to align with company goals.
- Optimize working capital.
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Manage A/R and A/P Teams of up to 20 team members.
- Implement weekly reporting to monitor and measure team performance.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers and vendors, as well as internal business partners.
Banking and financial relations:
- Oversee and manage relationships with banks and other financial service providers.
- Negotiate terms on credit card programs, merchant services, and banking fees.
- Administer bank accounts, including opening/closing and managing online portals.
- Risk management and compliance:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, such as interest rate exposure.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Strategic planning and reporting:
- Collaborate with other departments on strategic initiatives to optimize financial performance.
- Support the annual budgeting process by leading treasury-related aspects.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership.
- Assist with debt management and financing transactions.
Experience and education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or finance with cash forecasting experience.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
