What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utilization Review Coordinator position at UHS?
Roxbury is currently recruiting a dedicated and detail-oriented clinician to work with our staff treatment teams in obtaining continuing care for our patients.
Great work environment - Monday through Friday day shift on our acute psychiatric units.
This position qualifies for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain ongoing direct contact with the attending practitioner, treatment coordinator, and various members of the team to provide support on the continuity of care and discharge planning.
- Ensure proper tracking of utilization reviews and initiates the denial process as necessary
- Aid in the coordination of transitions between levels of care
- Communicates and ensures proper documentation requirements

Qualifications
UR Coordinator Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Psychology or other related field which includes a practicum in health or human service agency preferred. or
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field and two years of experience in a health or human services agency required or
- current licensure in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing with two years of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
