What You’ll Do
As a Cook at St. Mary’s, you’ll play a key role in delivering nutritious, appealing meals that support patient recovery and enhance the dining experience for staff and visitors. You’ll follow standardized recipes, maintain food safety, and ensure consistency across all production areas. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and garnishing food for patient meals, cafeteria service, and catering events using standardized recipes
- Meeting or exceeding quality standards through routine tasting, temperature checks, and visual inspection
- Following established menus and production guides to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Demonstrating basic skills in food preparation, equipment operation, safety, and production planning
- Maintaining proper food temperatures throughout the entire preparation and service cycle
- Adhering to strict sanitation guidelines established by the State of Oklahoma Health Department

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Institutional cooking experience required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
