Job Summary (Purpose):
The Manager – Pricing Analysis supports the execution and evolution of the company’s pricing strategies through implementation of best practices and by providing accurate and timely projections, pricing tools, reports and actionable recommendations to all internal customers. Collaboratively work with Senior Management and across all AmeriGas Regions and Areas to support and drive pricing excellence and sound execution of the company’s pricing strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level analytical work around the company’s customer pricing and gross profit objectives
• Develop pricing action plans, and be the supportive expert to ensure pricing objectives are met in the most effective way
• Assist management at all levels with margin planning and budgeting; management, including both propane and non-propane gross profit targets
• Assist with the management of various pricing actions and processes in the AmeriGas SAP operating system
• Work with large data sets, with the ability to analyze, and report or make needed recommendations
• Partner with the Financial Control group and with management at various levels of operations to ensure compliance of AmeriGas’ pricing policies, procedures, and controls
• Direct involvement with future merger and SAP conversion tasks that involves current and future customer pricing logic requirements and strategies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize position responsibilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proven ability to think creatively and generate new ideas around improving the profitability of the business
• SAP and BI experience is preferred
• Excellent PC and business modeling skills. This includes Microsoft Office Products – Excel and Access
Education and Experience Required:
• Minimum BS - Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
• Experience - 5 years in an operational business environment
• Additional Experience - 2 years in Pricing or financial analysis role.
