Location
Our alumni agree – we’ve got the magic balance of flexibility and immersion when our interns align with our HQ hybrid model. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and have transportation/access to HQ (aka WowTown) throughout the entirety of the program.
Internship Details
Five Below is continuing to evolve its pricing strategy with a focus on making it simpler, clearer, and easier to execute in stores. This project supports our Pricing Simplification initiative, helping streamline price points, improve in-store execution, and create a more intuitive shopping experience for customers.
The intern will work cross-functionally with teams including Pricing, Store Operations, Merchandising, and Visual Merchandising to analyze current pricing structures and identify opportunities to reduce complexity. Through a mix of data analysis and operational planning, they’ll help translate pricing strategy into practical, store-level solutions—everything from clearer signage to more efficient execution for store teams.
Along the way, the intern will explore how pricing decisions impact both the customer experience and day-to-day store operations, identifying ways to improve accuracy, clarity, and consistency across locations.
At the conclusion of the program, the intern will present insights and recommendations that support simplified pricing across key categories, along with tools and materials designed to improve store execution and communication. Their work will help create a more seamless experience for both customers and store teams—making it even easier to shop (and work) at Five Below. 🎯

Internship Details
- 10 weeks: June 1st- August 7th
- Full time – 40 hours/wk
- Paid – $19.50/hr
- Hybrid model - Reporting into WowTown Tues-Thurs
- Hands on, results driven projects. No coffee fetching here!

Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled as rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad with a relevant background; ideally studying Operations, Finance, Retail Management, Economics or similar. Those studying under an associate’s or certificate program may be considered if coursework and skills fit the individual project requirements.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software
- Must be available for the full 10-week program as space is limited
- Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented
- Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively
- Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!
- Interest and experience in Retail Operations
- Strong analytics skill. both quantitative and qualitative.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights, experience building reporting dashboards.
- Comfort presenting to varying levels of leadership.
