Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager and in association with the radiologists, the Supervisor conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The Supervisor performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team. Under the direction of the Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Radiology Department.
Qualifications
Education:
- Post High School Special Training
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- State of Florida Radiography
- ARRT
- BLS
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Management, problem solving and organizational skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
