Reports To: PC System Support Manager

Position Summary

The PC Systems Specialist - Level 1 provides technical support and ensures the proper functionality of supported system(s) or application(s). This role requires a clear understanding of systems functionality and departmental processes as they relate to the supported applications, enabling efficient troubleshooting and user support.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, peripheral, and software application issues.
• Serve as an escalation for the PC Systems Specialist 1 positions.
• Utilize strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to provide effective support.
• Assist with projects as assigned.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a solution-oriented, customer-focused environment.
• Maintain a clear understanding of supported systems and applications to ensure effective problem resolution.
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Education:
• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience:
• Required: 1-2 years of experience in an applicable technical field with working knowledge of PC hardware and software.
• Preferred: N/A
• Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with PCs.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• Required: None.
• Preferred: Technical certification(s) related to the field or production technologies.
