Overview

Optimizes revenue cycle processes through detailed analysis of electronic medical records data. Collaborates closely with billing, coding, IT, and clinical teams to ensure accurate claim submissions, resolve discrepancies, and enhance cash flow. Supports compliance efforts and revenue capture strategies while conducting audits and generating performance reports. Involves training staff on EMR revenue cycle systems and troubleshooting system issues to maintain efficient operations.

• Optimizes revenue cycle processes through detailed analysis of electronic medical record (EMR) data
• Collaborates with billing, coding, IT, and clinical teams to ensure accurate claim submissions
• Resolves discrepancies to improve cash flow and support revenue capture
• Supports compliance initiatives and revenue integrity strategies
• Conducts audits and generates performance and operational reports
• Provides training and troubleshooting support for EMR revenue cycle systems
• Maintains efficient operations through timely resolution of system issues
  
  

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus two (2) or more years of related work experience
• Two (2) years of work experience may be substituted with two (2) years of college coursework in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
• Associate degree preferred
• 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle analysis
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and revenue cycle software
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial and operational reporting
• Experience collaborating with billing, coding, and clinical teams
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
