Minimum Requirements
Education:
Associate degree in a healthcare-related field required.
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement (CDI).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical documentation standards.
- Experience conducting audits and quality assurance activities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clinical providers and coding teams.
- Ability to develop and deliver staff education and training programs.
One of the following credentials is required:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Employees in this position are designated as Frequent Drivers and will operate a personal or University of Florida Health vehicle for assigned business purposes.
A Frequent Driver Is Defined As An Individual Who:
- Drives at least once daily, or
- Completes at least five (5) individual trips per week, or
- Drives an average of more than 150 miles per week in the performance of job duties.
