Responsibilities
- Work with Executive Director/President on the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising and development strategy.
- Oversee daily program management.
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of major gifts donors and performing to key metrics and fundraising goals associated with identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and governmental requirements.
- Partner with Executive Director/President and Foundation Boards to establish strategic priorities and drive organizational growth.
- Work with Executive Director/President on development strategy, donor engagement, and program effectiveness.
- Participate in Board meetings as appropriate, providing updates and recommendations, while serving as a non-voting member.
Education
- Master’s degree or other graduate-level education required.
- Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) or Certified Fundraising Manager (CFRM) preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive fundraising experience within a healthcare foundation.
- Demonstrated success cultivating and stewarding donor relationships.
- Proven experience leading fundraising initiatives, including special events and planned giving programs.
- Track record of managing or supporting capital campaigns for major healthcare projects.
- Strong, innovative leadership capabilities with the ability to drive strategic growth.
- Proficiency with donor management systems such as Raiser's Edge or comparable CRM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, board members, and community stakeholders.
