There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant-leader at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and he is dedicated to the success of his team and the people of his community. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. Responsibilities
The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.This position shift will be:
FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields

Responsibilities
The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.This position shift will be:
- 7am-7pm =3 12 hours shifts On-Call (1 night a week and 1 weekend a mo approximately every 3rd or 4th weekend=Fri night close of business to Mon 6 am)
- Must report w/in 30 min.
- Education
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:
FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields

- ACLS required
