Job Summary

UDermic Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing, independent, physician-led dermatology practice in Evans, Georgia.

We are open to both experienced dermatology APPs and candidates who are new to dermatology. New graduates and experienced NPs/PAs interested in transitioning into dermatology are encouraged to apply.

Prior dermatology experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Qualified candidates without dermatology experience will receive hands-on, physician-mentored dermatology training, with progressive clinical responsibility based on individual development, demonstrated competency, and readiness.

Compensation

Base Salary: $95,000–$120,000 , depending on experience and full-time versus part-time status.

In addition to base compensation, providers have the opportunity to earn productivity and quality-based bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be based on experience, training, and demonstrated competency and may include:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with medical dermatologic conditions
  • Perform comprehensive and focused skin examinations
  • Evaluate suspicious skin lesions and participate in skin cancer detection
  • Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions
  • Perform biopsies and other appropriate office-based dermatologic procedures
  • Develop and manage appropriate treatment plans
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive care
  • Review pathology and laboratory results and coordinate appropriate follow-up
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and other members of the clinical team
  • Maintain appropriate professional, clinical, and regulatory standards

Physician-Mentored Dermatology Development

For providers entering dermatology, training and mentorship may include:

  • Dermatologic examination and diagnosis
  • Comprehensive skin examinations
  • Skin cancer recognition
  • Biopsy techniques
  • Common dermatologic procedures
  • Dermatopathology and pathology review
  • Treatment planning
  • Case review and clinical discussion
  • Documentation and coding guidance
  • Progressive patient-care responsibilities

Training is individualized. There is no predetermined timeline for independent patient management. Clinical responsibilities progress according to demonstrated competency and readiness.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current Georgia license or eligibility for Georgia licensure
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Professionalism and ability to work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff

Preferred, but not required:

  • Prior dermatology experience
  • Experience performing office-based procedures
  • Prior outpatient clinical experience

New graduates with a strong interest in dermatology are encouraged to apply.
