UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago is seeking a motivated and experienced Youth Residential Supervisor to lead operations within therapeutic youth group homes. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment while promoting independence, life skills, and community integration for youth in care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Maintain a consistent leadership presence in assigned residential homes
- Ensure implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and behavior supports
- Monitor compliance, documentation, and data collection requirements
- Support crisis response, safety practices, and youth well‑being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and agency leadership
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit
- At least 2 years of full‑time experience in a residential child care program
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related human services field
OR
5 years of supervised experience in a congregate care setting - Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with proof of insurance
- Ability to obtain or maintain First Aid, CPR, Safety Cares, and medication administration certifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide physical assistance and interventions when necessary
Schedule & Position Details
- Salaried, full‑time position
- Flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Extended work hours and occasional Saturdays may be required to support agency programming and home visits
- On‑call availability as needed
Salary : $50,000 - $57,000
