Location: UCHealth Admin 2400 Peoria, Aurora CO

Department: HIM Medical Record Completion

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienc.

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Summary

Maintains accuracy, integrity and completeness of health information.

Responsibilities

Reviews and validates medical records and related documentation per established guidelines.

Investigates and resolves discrepancies, researches and corrects inaccurate or incomplete records.

Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution.

Prepares reports, presentations and other documents as instructed.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• Associate's degree. Training in Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy.
• Required Licensure/Certification: None Required. Preferred: Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
