We are currently seeking an Accountant who will perform a variety of accounting functions in support of the daily operations of the finance department including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and support of operational accounting processes such as cash, billing, and accounts receivable. They will play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes, assists in preparation of financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provides backup support across accounting functions as needed.
UCFS Hours of Operation: Open 8:00am - 7:00pm; Hours Vary By Day & Location
Expected Schedule: FT, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

- Perform account reconciliations (e.g., cash, bank accounts, prepaids, deferred revenue, and other balance sheet accounts).
- Record and reconcile cash activity, including bank deposits and transactions.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Support development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Experience with Acumatica preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups) and Teams skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to verify accuracy of work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
