Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and experience with Quick Books Accounting Software. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting financial reporting, compliance, and analysis across multiple sectors including manufacturing cost accounting and construction. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Duties
- Perform account reconciliations including bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making
- Support cash flow analysis and treasury functions including bank reconciliations
- Maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions and reports for audit purposes
- Record financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts
- Perform administrative tasks

- Experience
- Experience in corporate accounting, manufacturing and construction
- Experience with Quick Books accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as accrual accounting, debits & credits, balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger management
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report writing
