We are looking for a Medical Lead Immunology for ECE region (East Central Europe) who demonstrates visionary leadership, empowers teams, and champions patient-centric innovation to join our Medical Affairs Team. The successful candidate will inspire collaboration, drive excellence, and embody integrity, core values that reflect our culture.
This role is based at our UCB offices in Warsaw, Poland or in Prague, Czech Republic.
About the role
Who you’ll work with
The Immunology MSLs and Medical Solution Leads in the ECE Cluster report directly to this role.
What you’ll do
- Enable regional medical strategic direction aligned with global and European priorities.
- Foster development for your team of Medical Science Liaisons and Medical Solution Leads.
- Welcome and support medical talent across countries in the cluster.
- Subject matter expert in immunology, ensuring strong therapeutic area acumen across the organization
- Ensure high-quality field planning, execution, and activity follow-up.
- Translate complex evidence and data into clear, patient-relevant insights for stakeholders.
- Cultivate compliant collaboration with partners and external healthcare experts.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Master or PhD in a scientific discipline; advanced medical or doctoral degree is valued.
- Strong Medical Affairs, and leadership experience enabling teams’ growth, coaching, and supportive performance conversations.
- Expertise in immunology or a closely related therapeutic area.
- Strong understanding of clinical development, study management, and real‑world evidence.
- Experience working in cross‑functional, regional, or matrix environments.
- Digital literacy and comfort working in evolving medical ecosystems.
- Successful experience in shaping strategic medical plans and following through from idea to patient impact.
- Fluency in English, Polish and or Czech depending on your location, and travel readiness in the region are valued.
