Position OverviewUC Group is seeking a driven and results-oriented LTL Retail Sales Executive to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional with a hunter mentality, focused on driving new business within our Retail LTL Consolidation and Freight Brokerage sectors. The successful candidate will identify, target, and secure new customers while expanding UC Group’s footprint across retail logistics.

Key Responsibilities- Drive new business development focused on LTL retail logistics and consolidation solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate short, mid, and long-term revenue growth.
- Prospect and qualify leads through research, networking, and cold outreach.
- Build strong relationships with retail clients, shippers, and carriers to create lasting partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams—operations, pricing, and account management—to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Understand customer pain points and design solutions to optimize their LTL transportation and distribution strategies.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and pipeline management within Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- 2-5 years of LTL, retail logistics, or freight brokerage sales experience (entry-level candidates with strong sales drive will be considered).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals in a competitive logistics environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fiscal management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and customer success.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Existing book of business within retail or LTL transportation (a plus).
- Knowledge of the supply chain and transportation industry required.
