- develop a strong foundation in customer service, product knowledge, financial markets, financial planning, investment strategies, banking solutions, consultative selling, and wealth management solutions
- grow professionally throughout a paid, extensive, and structured Financial Advisor Development Program
- build and deepen relationships with our existing client base by providing them with an exceptional client experience
- acquire your Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA Licenses
- obtain your Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, the standard of excellence in financial planning, as part of our tuition reimbursement program
- launch a successful career in a growing wealth management business with strong earning potential and career advancement
Additional job responsibilities:
- support a wide range of back and front office operational functions that will help you learn how the firm operates and how to effectively serve our clients
- promptly answer client phone calls, manage all appointments, and outreaches assigned, delivering exceptional service and advice
- collaborate across the firm to solve client inquiries, follow up, and own client requests to ensure positive client outcomes
- understand and adhere to regulatory requirements, compliance, and operational procedures to protect our clients
- build and maintain strong relationships with clients through deeper conversations to identify opportunities that lead to more holistic client experiences
- deepen existing client relationships by conducting discovery conversations, implementing UBS’s digital planning tools, and delivering expert financial advice, including portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment selection
- participate in development workshops that include interactive training sessions, live client interactions, and ongoing learning and development opportunities with experienced leaders

The UBS Wealth Advice Center is a UBS branch with locations in Weehawken, New Jersey; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Dallas, Texas, focused on delivering consistent, high‑quality advice and guidance to Emerging Affluent clients through a scalable, relationship‑based service model.
Our team currently supports more than 200,000 clients nationwide. Clients are served by a team of over 400 dedicated professionals, including Financial Advisors and Team Associates, who work directly with clients—primarily over the phone—to understand their individual needs and help them make informed decisions in support of their long‑term financial goals.
The UBS Wealth Advice Center leadership team supports career advancement and internal mobility to help guide your career journey at UBS. All new UBS Wealth Advice Center employees must commit to staying in the WAC for a minimum of three years before becoming eligible to transfer to another role internally.

- has completed their bachelor's degree or equivalent. A background in business administration, wealth management, financial planning, or finance is preferred. Coursework on financial planning through a CFP Board Registered Program is preferred
- has completed the SIE at least 30 days before joining and is expected to pass the Series 7 and Series 66 within 150 days of starting. Series 66 is highly recommended to be completed prior to starting. Combination of both the Series 63 and the Series 65 exams can be substituted for the Series 66 exam

- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Our Financial Advisor Development Program is 36 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge about becoming a Financial Advisor. By learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
